Biography
John DiSalle is a judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County, Pa., a position he was elected to in 2005 after serving over 20 years as a practicing attorney in Washington County and the surrounding counties. As a Washington County judge, he presides over criminal court, drug treatment court, statutory appeals, license suspension appeals, and civil cases.
Judge DiSalle is a graduate of Peters Township High School, Duquesne University, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He had served on the Peters Township Planning Commission for five years. In 2000, Judge DiSalle was honored by the South Hills Quad Chamber of Commerce with the annual Citizen of the Year Award, in recognition of his community service and volunteerism. Judge DiSalle continues to be involved in charitable and civic organizations and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Washington Jazz Orchestra.
A patron of the arts, Judge DiSalle also plays the saxophone and clarinet and regularly plays at local venues for the benefit of the Washington Symphony Orchestra, Washington and Jefferson College, and the Washington Jazz Orchestra.
