Biography

Dr. Lennon earned his undergraduate degree from  Williams College in Asian languages, and his MBA from  Northeastern University where he was a graduate assistant at the Entrepreneurship Center With additional coursework at both MIT and  Kyoto University, Japan, Dr. Lennon earned his doctorate in strategy and international business from the University of Rhode Island. His field work based dissertation explored mobile commerce in East Asia. In Fall 2016, he joined  California University of Pennsylvania as an Associate Professor of Management after many years teaching both undergraduate and graduate students, in person and online, at notable universities including Penn State and Loyola University Maryland. 

His current research focuses on technology and innovation, entrepreneurship,  and the development of viable business models. Recent publications include well received articles on Bitcoin and blockchain, which have been downloaded from the academic website Researchgate over 1,000 times. Drawing upon his decade long corporate based work experience in the Information Technology field in both the US and Japan, his research is practically oriented and seeks to serve the needs of the business community.
