Undergraduate Requirements

Complete the online application

  •  Application fee. 
  • Official high school transcript.
    • If your home country has universal, mandatory examinations to enter college, such as A Levels or the West African Examination Certificate, please provide these scores as well. If you are uncertain whether you should include an examination or not, please get in touch and we’d be happy to clarify!
  • Country-specific examinations
  • Proof of English Proficiency 
  • Letter(s) of recommendation (optional)
  • A personal essay (optional)
  • Passport
  • Financial Affidavit and supporting documents
    • The Financial Affidavit is needed for immigration purposes only. It is not mandatory to submit with your application and can be submitted after admission if preferred.

 You will be considered for admission to PennWest California after careful review of your high school record, academic coursework and SAT/ACT scores. Attention is given to your personal essay, extracurricular activities and letters of recommendation, if submitted.

Exemptions: Applicants are exempt from providing proof of English proficiency if they:
  •  Hold a degree from a secondary school or university taught entirely in English (additional documentation may be requested)


Graduate Requirements

Complete the online application and submit the following:

  • Application fee
  •  Official bachelor’s and/or graduate level transcripts or official evaluation of transcripts with a course-by-course evaluation including GPA (WES or Silny preferred). Evaluations from any NACES Member will be accepted.
  • Submit all program specific requirements
    •  View the program requirements by selecting from our program listing and scrolling down to the “Admission Requirements” on the specific program page
  • Proof of English Proficiency. Exempted countries are listed below.
    •  Any applicant that has earned a bachelor’s degree or beyond with English as the medium of instruction will also be exempted from this exam requirement
  • Passport 
  • Financial Affidavit and supporting documents
