Last fall, she became the first women's cross-country runner in program history to receive All-America status while competing at the NCAA National Championships for the third time in her career.
California University of Pennsylvania senior Julie Friend will be competing in the 3,000-meter run at the 2018 NCAA Division II Championships on Saturday, March 10, in Pittsburg, Kan. Friend is scheduled to compete at approximately 8:25 p.m. EST.
