Residents may drop off items at the California Area Public Library parking lot May 18-19.
Residents of the borough of California may drop off electronics they wish to recycle at the California Public Library parking lot during daylight hours on May 18-19.
No fee will be charged, and only electronics will be accepted.
Additional trash collection, especially for large items, will take place weekdays from May 14-18. To arrange for disposal of a large item, call the borough at 724-938-8280.
“This is part of our ongoing partnership with California borough, and it’s up to our students to leave the community as nice as it was when they came at the start of the academic year,” said Larry Sebek, associate vice president for Student Affairs.
