Created with prospective students in mind, the commercials show actual Cal U students and faculty in classrooms, labs and playing fields on campus.
Maybe you’ve seen them during a Pittsburgh Steelers pregame show, or on an episode of “The Voice” or “This Is Us.”
The fast-paced TV spots offer a 30-second glimpse of life at Cal U.
“From academics to activities, there is so much happening at Cal U,” said Christine Kindl, vice president for Communications and Marketing.
“Our goal was to illustrate that variety, demonstrate that energy, and show how Cal U can help to build the future you envision.”
Two versions of the commercial were created, each focusing on a different array of academic programs and student activities. They complement a TV ad created earlier this fall to appeal to adult learners.
All three are part of the “Build You” marketing campaign, which focuses on the many ways that Cal U empowers students to build their own path to career success.
The TV spots will air occasionally before the crush of holiday ads go on the air, then return to the airwaves in January and February. Look for them on WPXI-TV and on a variety of cable networks selected for their appeal to future students and their families.
