California University of Pennsylvania first-year student Sara Suazo shoots a 4-over-par 76 in the final round.
Suazo was one of six individuals selected to the regional championships, which were
held at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich., and featured 12 team qualifiers
from primarily the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and Great
Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). Six-time, defending-regional champion UIndy was one
of the four teams from the GLVC selected to the event.
Suazo claimed four individual victories this season and has placed in the top five overall eight times in 10 events.
