Various Cal U ensembles are warming up for performances that are open to the University community and the public.
Cal U’s talented student musicians are tuning up for several upcoming performances.
-- The Cal U Orchestra, directed by Margaret Schottman, will perform its fall concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 in Gallagher Hall, Room 107.
-- Jazz ensembles, under the direction of Dr. Frank Stetar, will perform holiday tunes and an assortment of jazz melodies at 8 p.m. Nov. 27 in the Performance Center, inside the Natali Student Center.
-- The Young and Gifted Gospel Choir, directed by Dr. Randy Tillmutt, will perform its holiday concert at 5 p.m. Dec. 1 in Old Main Chapel.
-- The University Choir, also directed by Tillmutt, will perform its holiday concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 2 in Old Main Chapel.
-- Cal U’s Guitar Ensemble, directed by Pittsburgh musician Ken Karsh, will perform at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 in Gallagher Hall, Room 107
