The women's basketball team will be making its 15th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament and will face third-seeded IUP (26-3) in the first round.
Under seventh-year head coach Jess Strom, Cal U enters the NCAA Division II Tournament with a 24-6 overall record.
The eight-team Atlantic Regional tournament will be held in Richmond, Va., with first-round games scheduled for Friday, March 9, second-round contests slated for Saturday, March 10, and the regional championship set for Monday, March 12. Start times and other information related to the regional tournament will be announced in the coming days.
