Overall, the Vulcans posted a cumulative GPA of 3.258 last semester, while 23 student-athletes boasted a perfect 4.00 GPA.
A total of 191 California University of Pennsylvania student-athletes, representing
all sports (fall, winter and spring), were named to the Spring 2019 edition of the
Athletic Director Honor Roll.
To be eligible for the academic honor, student-athletes must earn a GPA of 3.00 or
higher during the semester. Volleyball posted the highest team GPA at 3.659 and featured
17 student-athletes on the Honor Roll. On the men's side, golf posted the top GPA
of the eight sports at 3.438 with six student-athletes holding a 3.00 GPA or better.
In terms of pure numbers, football led all sports with 28 representatives on the Honor
Roll, followed by women's track & field (24), baseball (23), women's soccer (20),
volleyball (17), men's track & field (14), swimming (13), men's soccer (12), softball
(11), women's cross country (10) and tennis (10).
