The event provides clothing and other services to students.
Students who want to look their best for an important meeting or job interview are invited to Cal U’s Dress for Success event, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. April 30 and May 1 in the north wing of the Convocation Center.
Female students who attend will receive one free professional outfit, provided by Dress for Success Washington. Registration is required at the Career and Professional Development Center, located on the first floor of the Natali Student Center. Bring a photo ID.
Male students can attend without registration to receive a tie and select from a limited selection of suits, pants and dress shirts.
Special services will be offered on April 30.
At 11 a.m., Jill Thomas from Enterprise will offer a professional dress workshop. Students should register at https://calu.joinhandshake.com/events/297714/share_preview.
Male students who attend the workshop will be entered into a drawing for a JC Penney gift card. The company will have two representatives on hand from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. to provide personalized measurements for men.
From 10 a.m.-3 p.m. April 30, students from the Toni and Guy Hairdressing Academy will provide demonstrations on professional hair and makeup.
A professional photographer will be on hand April 30 to take headshots that can be used for a LinkedIn profile or portfolio.
