Cal U will celebrate Virtual Club and Organization Fair Week Sept. 28-Oct. 2.

During remote operations, a series of videos highlighting the opportunities to get involved on campus will be shown on the CUTV YouTube channel

More than 40 different videos of clubs and organizations — major-based groups, social groups, faith-based organizations, Greek life and more — will be shown throughout the week. Watch the daily campus announcements beginning Sept. 28 for more information.

“It’s a way for the organizations to talk about what they are doing who they are and what they are about,” said Diane Hasbrouck, director of Volunteer Programs and Service Learning. “Club photos, social media links and information about the clubs will be included in the video.”

Joy Helsel, Cal U's director of Fraternity and Sorority Life, said getting involved in a club and organization can help a student be successful in college by fostering a sense of connection and belonging.

“Many students become involved and flourish in clubs,” she said. “It’s important to offer this virtual event now, which will hopefully really help give first-year students and underclassmen a better Cal U experience, especially when we return to campus.”
