Transitions in Student Affairs, Administration and Finance begin in January 2021.

University President Geraldine M. Jones has announced two leadership transitions that will take effect in January 2021. 

Student Affairs

Lawrence “Larry” Sebek will step into the role of interim vice president for Student Affairs when Dr. Nancy Pinardi retires on Jan. 16. 

Pinardi earned her associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Cal U. She has more than 30 years of experience in the field of student affairs and has touched thousands of students’ lives along the way. We wish her well as she begins this new chapter of her life.

Sebek, also a Cal U alumnus, has worked closely with Pinardi since he was named associate vice president for Student Affairs in 2013.

Administration and Finance

As previously announcedRobert “Bob” Thorn, currently the vice president for Administration and Finance, will serve as interim University President upon President Jones’ retirement on Jan. 29.

Fawn Petrosky will become the interim vice president for Administration and Finance. A Cal U alumna and certified public accountant, she began her career in the University’s payroll office in 1988 and has been associate vice president for Administration and Finance since 2009.
