The program was recently recognized as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of American Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2019 semester.
The Vulcans earned the honor after boasting a cumulative 3.32 grade-point average
(GPA) during the fall, as they were one of 58 NCAA Division II women's programs to
achieve a 3.30 or higher. Cal U was one of 10 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference
(PSAC) women's teams to be featured on the list, as the Vulcans placed 11 student-athletes
on the Cal U AD Honor Roll, including a pair with a perfect 4.00 GPA.
The CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honor is presented to swimming & diving teams who
achieved a 3.00 or higher GPA over the fall semester.
The Vulcans are idle for three weeks before serving as the host school while competing
at the PSAC Championships from Feb. 19-22 at the Graham Aquatic Center in York, Pennsylvania.
