The 'Cal U Ready Online Adventure' opens March 15.
The Office of Academic Success plans an online interactive event to prepare current students to register for Fall 2021 classes.
The “Cal U Ready Online Adventure” will be open to students 8 a.m. Monday, March 15, through 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 18. Look for “Cal U Ready” on D2L, Cal U’s online learning platform.
“We want our current students to be prepared to register for their fall classes by providing relevant information in a fun, interactive format,” said Amanda Rbaibi, an academic counselor in the Office of Academic Success.
The early registration period for Fall 2021 classes begins March 29. View the academic calendar.
Adventurers will navigate through nine online realms, collecting resources and completing tasks to prepare for Fall 2021 course scheduling.
The interactive event will provide information from the following areas: Scheduling Center, Success Center, Student Accounts, Housing, Placement Testing, Career and Professional Development Center, Financial Aid, PSECU Financial Education Center, and the bookstore.
Master all the realms to earn a mid-term “survival kit” and a chance to win prizes such as pre-priority registration, gift cards and Cal U gear. Throughout the event, students can speak with staff from offices across campus during special live sessions. Check the schedule in D2L.
