The University and the PSAC set records for the total number of recipients.
A combined 226 student-athletes from California University of Pennsylvania, representing
all sports, were named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athletes
by the league office on Wednesday afternoon.
In order to achieve PSAC Scholar-Athlete status, a student-athlete must have compiled
a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.25 or above.
The women's track & field team led the way for the Vulcans with 33 honorees, while baseball was second with 32 selections. Football (26), volleyball (22), women's soccer (20), men's soccer (18), softball (18), women's cross country (12) and men's track & field (10) each featured double-digit honorees.
