Cal U’s School of Graduate Studies and Research speaker series will conclude for the spring semester with a talk by Fred Smith ’12, "Work-Life Harmony: Finding Time for Well-Being," at 7 p.m. April 27.

Smith, of Washington, D.C., is a senior associate, data engineer with KPMG, where he builds data visualization and business intelligence solutions for some of the largest corporations in the country. He also has experience developing analytical solutions for government agencies and nonprofits, with specialties in disaster response, economic development, and healthcare.

Smith graduated from California University of Pennsylvania in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a concentration in GIS and Emergency Management. He also earned a master’s degree in public administration, with a concentration in public policy analysis from Pennsylvania State University.
