In November 2016, President Jones approved the name change of the former Office of Veterans Affairs – it is now the Office of Military and Veterans Affairs
The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs is the primary resource center for all Service members, Veterans, Reservists, and Dependents of a Veteran of Service member.
The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs is responsible for processing all Department of Veteran’s Affairs Educational benefits such as the G.I. Bill or Dependents Education Assistance Program.
Office of Military and Veterans Affairs provides a variety of services and programs throughout the year, including information specific to military and veteran employment, behavioral health and readjustment to the college environment.
The office is located in Hall E, Rooms 160, 145, 146, 147, 18, 149, 156, 157, and 158, and has a dedicated space for veterans to relax, study and socialize with other veterans and service members attending Cal U.
The Office of Military and Veterans Affairs is co-located with the Department of Military Science (Army R.O.T.C.).
