The Department of Art and Languages announces its Fall Washington D.C. day trip!
Date: November 2nd, a Thursday
Cost: $25 for Cal U students and guests.
*FREE for all active Art Club members! (see announcements for meetings times or contact Prof. Bové for Art Club information)
Sign up: In the Art and Languages office in Vulcan Hall. Monday-Friday 9-4.
Payment: Cash or check can be dropped off at the Art and Language office in Vulcan Hall.
Seats are on a first come, first serve basis. Only eighty seats are available, so sign up as soon as you can!
Details: Two modern coach buses. The buses will depart from CalU at 6am from Public safety, so be there early to get your seat!
One rest stop along the way. No breakfast stop, so bring food and water!
Arrive in D.C. around 10:30am.
Explore the largest art complex in the entire world! All museums and monuments are free.
Meet at the drop off point, the Air and Space museum, at 5:15pm. Bus leaves at 5:30pm for Cal.
One rest stop with fast food option along the way home.
Arrive back at Cal U around 11pm
*All school rules apply during field trips. No knives or weapons of any kind. Backpacks may need to be checked in at the coat-check of museums. Purses are usually allowed into the museum, but will be searched.
