Students of any academic standing, freshman through graduate, are welcome to live at Vulcan Village. Students apply through VIP and all billing is done directly through the Bursar’s Office, just like the residence halls. Vulcan Village students are guaranteed their own private bedroom, are not required to have a meal plan (but can purchase one if they like), have free parking on the property, and pricing is comparable to the on-campus residence halls. There are a host of activities and amenities at Vulcan Village including a 24-hour fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool, sand volleyball court, basketball court, Clubhouse, computer lab, Flatz Express eatery, weekly activities, newsletter and more! Students can easily switch from the on-campus residence halls to Vulcan Village or vice-versa, provided all contracts have been completed. University Housing and Vulcan Village staff must also verify this has been completed and financial arrangements have been made to pay for the prospective housing choice.
