W2 electronic delivery “open enrollment” is live! The enrollment can be found under Employee Self-Service/Payroll/Update W-2 Election. You will be required to attest that you have read the disclosure notice and agree to electronic delivery before you will be allowed to continue with enrollment. Once you have completed enrollment, ESS will show your status on the W-2 election page. PLEASE NOTE: If you have previously elected electronic delivery and wish to continue with that method, you do not need to take any action this year. Any new election made this year will continue to be in force unless you revert to a paper W2 via ESS or terminates your employment. You may change your enrollment choice at any time up to and including December 25, 2015. After that date, you will no longer be able to enroll for electronic distribution. If you have elected electronic distribution but wish to change to paper, you must contact the Payroll office directly. To those who take advantage of this electronic option, the W-2 statement will be available one to two weeks earlier than postal mailing. As well, the electronic W-2 will remain on ESS for several years, so it will be easily accessible any time another copy is needed. This option is available only to those who elect to receive their W-2 electronically; the W-2 forms sent via postal mail will not be accessible via the ESS site. Signing up is easy! Simply log in to ESS, scroll to the “Payroll” tab and follow the instructions to elect to receive the W-2 electronically.
