Do you ever wonder if your substance use is a problem? If so, the Alcohol and Other Drug Department welcomes you to attend BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) or CASICS (Cannabis Screening and Intervention for College Students) to assess your substance use. The BASICS/CASICS programs help students to examine their alcohol and/or drug use and encourages them to make smarter choices if necessary. Each program consists of two individual sessions with a certified instructor and takes only about one month to complete. BASICS and CASICS are offered free of charge and there is no commitment necessary if you are a self-referral. If you are concerned with your substance use, the Alcohol and Other Drug Department is here to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself when you initially came to college.
