STUDENT AFFAIRS

Did You Know??!!???

If a student/friend confides in you that they have been sexually assaulted, believe them and encourage them to seek help from the End Violence Center Advocate, Nancy Skobel.  Nancy is located in Carter Hall G94 (in the Wellness Center) or by phone at (724) 938-5707.

Staff members in the Women’s Center are knowledgeable in women’s leadership, body image, self-esteem building, and feminist activism.  They are located in the Natali Student Center room 117.  Their phone number is 724-938-5857.

Students can use their financial aid at Vulcan Village.  Billing is processed through the Bursar’s office just like the residence halls.  More information can be found on the University Housing website www.calu.edu/current-students/housing/index.htm.

The disciplinary process through the Office of Student Conduct allows the university to hold students accountable for their actions, and the process can be used to remove students whose behavior demonstrates a lack of regard for the university community.  The Associate Dean for Student Conduct can be found in the Student Affairs office in the Natali Student Center room 311.

Each fraternity and sorority has at least one philanthropy supported by all chapters.  Check out the website at www.calu.edu/current-students/get-involved/greek-life/index.htm for more information.
