Overdose Lifesaving Skills
May 16, 23 -- June 6, 13

Event description:

Employees often work face-to-face with students every day, yet have no formal training on how to react in the event of an overdose of a substance. This bystander intervention training will help educate university employees and personnel who are on the frontlines with students on lifesaving skills such as CPR, alcohol overdose response, the proper administration of Narcan, and legal issues about marijuana use.

Event timeline:
9:00 - 12:00 - CPR training
12:00 - 12:45 - Lunch
12:45 - 1:00 - Marijuana laws
1:00 - 2:15 - Narcan administration
2:15 - 3:00 - Alcohol overdose response
