University Conference Services is seeking a GA for the 2018/2019 year. Position works directly with the department staff in the day-to-day operations of conference services, from assisting with office administration to assisting directly in the success of events in the Convocation Center.
Skill set should include:
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Willingness to learn event management software
· Commitment to professionalism
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent customer service
· Ability to work alone and with a team
Prior experience in sports management, hospitality, tourism, facility operations, or event coordination preferred.
Schedule:
Flexible work schedule, 200 hours per semester. The ability to work evening and weekend hours is required.
