Here is a wonderful class on the books, taught by Lisa DePaoli.  It sounds like something that hits many current topics…check it out!

ANT379 - Special Problems in Anthropology: This course will focus on anthropological approaches to human-nature interactions, including cultural, historical, and political ecology. We will focus on sustainability and climate change as topics of particular interest, and the field of agroecology will be used as a case study. Applying anthropology to these contemporary issues helps to both illustrate the value of the anthropological approach and to put the focus on possible solutions.  All majors are welcome.  There are no prerequisites!

It is offered 12:30-1:45, Tuesdays and Thursdays, in Duda.  CRN is 30718.
