The Office of Academic Affairs, in compliance with Middle States, requires FERPA compliance training for faculty and staff who access student records.
FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records.
Be on the lookout for an email and paper memo with the instructions needed to begin your training.
The online training will be available on D2L beginning August 20, 2018 and must be completed by the close of the Fall 2018 semester, December 14, 2018.
