Cal U Students, Administration, Faculty & Staff: The Office of Military & Veterans Affairs requests your presence at ‘Families First’ Join our Cal U community, including local Military & Veteran families, and local American Legion Posts as we welcome the 2017-18 Past National Commander for the American Legion, Denise Rohan, to our campus. Past National Commander Rohan is the first female Commander to lead the American Legion. We encourage all Cal U students with Military ties to invite family members who are Veterans to attend. Proceeds from the dinner will benefit a new scholarship for Military Families. The American Legion was founded by WWI Veterans in 1919 and will celebrate their 100-year Centennial this year. The ‘Families First’ dinner is open to the public. Tickets for the dinner are $25. The dinner will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 6:00PM in the Convocation Center. RSVPs are required. Tickets will not be available at the door.
