Session Descriptions:

1.  Planning Successful Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment:  Let's GROW and SHOW what they KNOW!

In fun and hands on ways, participants will explore methods of planning and assessing student learning in preschool settings.  Curriculum approaches and different learning styles will be considered.  Planning tools and forms will be created and shared by participants.  Dr. Clover Wright, Faculty, Childhood Education/Cal U

2.  Creative Project Work for Infants and Toddlers

Ashley Roth, director of the Village Early Childhood Learning Center, created a project based curriculum using the Creative Curriculum for infants and toddlers.  The Creative Curriculum does not spell out project learning for infants and toddlers like they do in the preschool/kindergarten curriculum.  Ashley will share what she learned and do some hands on activities.  Prof. Ashley Roth, Adjunct Faculty, Childhood Education/Cal U

Snacks and drinks will be provided.  Please bring a bagged lunch.
