Claudio Sanchez is an American author and musician of Italian and Puerto Rican descent.[1] He is most well known for being the frontman and guitarist for Coheed and Cambria.[1] After breaking up with former band Beautiful Loser, Sanchez went on a trip to Paris, where he wrote the story that inspired Coheed and Cambria’s band name.[1] Coheed and Cambria is a progressive rock band that incorporates aspects of progressive rock, pop, heavy metal, and post-hardcore.[2] Sanchez also writes comic books and graphic novels, most notably, The Amory Wars, based on a Coheed and Cambria’s album.[1] To learn more about Claudio Sanchez.
