The office of University Development and Alumni Relations is seeking a student caller for the Development Student Call Center. Student Callers are responsible for contacting alumni, families, and students in an effort to support Annual Fund efforts.
Experience and Qualifications:
· Enthusiasm for California University of Pennsylvania
· Interpersonal skills
· High level of professional speaking skills
· Strong organizational abilities and attention to details
· Ability to work independently and responsibly
· Customer service or previous sales experience preferred
· Must be approved for a work study position
· Work a permanent schedule of two (2) evening shifts per week, 8 hours total (between Monday and Thursday between 4pm and 8pm)
Other Competencies:
Outgoing, friendly personality, enthusiasm, and passion for the call center’s mission. Excellent oral communication skills, capacity to learn quickly and utilize constructive criticism, accuracy and attention to detail.
Main Functions:
Raise funds for student scholarship support through strategic efforts
· Use training to secure gifts and pledges through calling efforts
· Act in a professional manner
· Share University news and updates with alumni and families
· Excitement, pride, and joy of knowing you are helping others
