The Office for Commuter and Non-Traditional Student Services provides resources, programs and information to meet the needs of off-campus students. Recognizing that traveling back and forth to campus can add additional challenges to the collegiate experience, the office wants to assist commuters with getting connected to departments and services available for them on campus.

California University of Pennsylvania Office of Commuter and Non-Traditional Student Services mission is to:

Located in the Natali Student Center, the Energy Zone is “home base” for commuters, who can use the space to relax and recharge, power up their devices, put together a snack or lock up their gear.

Commuter Break Pods were created throughout campus to give non-resident students a quieter place to relax, grab a snack, study or meet up with friends between classes. The amenities in these areas include vending machines, hard and soft seating, phone charging station and television (Keystone Hall). The Commuter Service staff will be hosting programs and activities in these locations throughout the semester. Pods are currently located in Keystone Hall, Eberly Hall and Manderino Library.
