The office of Development and Alumni Relations is seeking one (1) student caller for the Development Student Call Center. Student Callers are responsible for contacting alumni, families, and students in an effort to support Annual Fund efforts. 

Experience and Qualifications:

·         Enthusiasm for California University of Pennsylvania

·         Interpersonal skills

·         High level of professional speaking skills

·         Strong organizational abilities and attentiveness to details

·         Ability to work independently and responsibly

·         Customer service or previous sales experience preferred

·         Must be approved for a work study position 

·         Work a permanent schedule of two (2) evening shifts per week, 8 hours total (between Monday and Thursday between 4pm and 8pm)

 

Other Competencies:

Outgoing, friendly personality, enthusiasm, and passion for the call center’s mission. Excellent oral communication skills, capacity to learn quickly and utilize constructive criticism, accuracy and attention to detail.

 

Main Functions:

Raise funds for student scholarship support through strategic efforts

·         Use training to secure gifts and pledges through calling efforts

·         Act in a professional manner

·         Share University news and updates with alumni and families  

·         Excitement, pride, and joy in knowing you are helping others
