Special Call for proposals for Group Performance at
Cal U’s Fifth Annual Strike a Spark Conference
In order to highlight collaborative creative activity on our campus, we are seeking proposals for a group performance in the Featured Session of the Fifth Annual Strike a Spark Conference on Wednesday, April 24. Proposals should describe a group performance of about 20 minutes in length and may be a work in its entirety, excerpts from a larger work, or a collection of shorter works.
The deadline for submission of this special group performance proposal is midnight Monday, March 4. Please be aware that this deadline is earlier than that for standard proposals for poster, paper/oral or creative works presentations.
Proposals should be no more than 1 to 2 pages in length and must include:
• a title,
• an abstract that briefly describes the performance,
• the names of the performers,
• the name of the faculty sponsor,
• a description of any special space/stage or technical requirements.
