Call for Judges: Cal U’s 5th Annual Strike a Spark Conference, Wednesday, April 24
The committee organizing Cal U’s 5th Annual Strike a Spark Conference seeks judges to evaluate student posters, oral presentations, and performances on Wednesday, April 24. The committee anticipates a high level of student participation and a correspondingly great need for judges from our campus. The program will include student sessions in the morning (9:00 to 10:45 a.m.) and afternoon (1:00 to 2:45 p.m.).
If interested in serving as a judge, please send your name, discipline, and availability in the morning and/or afternoon to Dr. Keat Murray at murray@calu.edu with “Conference Judge” in the subject line. We request you indicate your discipline so we can create interdisciplinary judging groups, not to match judges to their respective disciplines.
We also welcome judges outside of our university community, including alumni, regional experts, and professionals in fields represented in Cal U’s wide array of majors. If you can recommend a judge outside of Cal U, please use the same subject and send his/her name with an email address for contact purposes.
