The Office of Development and Alumni Relations is seeking Summer Student workers for the Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund and Student Call Center Positions.
Office of Alumni Relations and Annual Fund Main Job Functions:
Student Call Center Main Functions:
Raise funds for student scholarship support through strategic efforts
· Use training to secure gifts and pledges through calling efforts
· Act in a professional manner
· Share University news and updates with alumni and families
· Excitement, pride, and joy of knowing you are helping others
Student Callers are responsible for contacting alumni, families, and students in an effort to support Annual Fund efforts.
Experience and Qualifications:
· Enthusiasm for California University of Pennsylvania
· Interpersonal skills
· High level of professional speaking skills
· Strong organizational abilities and attentiveness to details
· Ability to work independently and responsibly
· Customer service or previous sales experience preferred
· Must be approved for a work study position
Other Competencies:
Outgoing, friendly personality, and enthusiastic. Excellent oral communication skills, capacity to learn quickly and utilize constructive criticism, accuracy and attention to detail.
