Intern needed for the Cal U Cupboard- Fall 2019

The Cal U Cupboard is a free on-campus resource for students that provides food, school supplies, and personal hygiene products to students. The Cal U Cupboard Intern will work in various capacities within the Cal U Cupboard and the Center for Volunteer Programs and Service Learning to provide this service for students.

Duties include: facilitating on campus food drives, entering items into the inventory system, organizing and restocking the Cupboard, assisting customers with the Cupboard, providing resources both on and off campus to the students, and implementing new programs that align with the Cupboard’s mission.

The Cal U Cupboard is a part of the Center for Volunteer Programs and Service Learning  (VPSL).  VPSL plans on-campus service events such as Relay for Life, The Big Event, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the MLK Day of Service and other volunteer opportunities.

Undergraduates of any major are welcomed to apply.  Non-credit and for-credit interns accepted.
