Are you looking for a GA position for next year? Please see requirements below: 

·         Schedule incoming students for tutoring sessions and assist students in meeting their peer tutors.

·         Be on time and meet all scheduled hours. 

·         Compile data for the analysis of “Critical Thinking and Reading” course, Tutoring Center, and Reading Clinic

·         Complete year end reports for Tutoring Center and Reading Clinic.

·         Assist with Tutor Training and assist with development of Tutor Training Handbook.

·         Be positive and professional when meeting all students while making them feel welcome.

·         Interact professionally with staff, faculty and peers while explaining, demonstrating, and sharing important information about the programs.

·         Assist with compilation of Tutor scheduling book and keep updated.

·         Assist supervisor with any course, tutoring, or Reading Clinic duties.

·         Maintain records of objectives met during work hours.

·         Complete any requests of faculty/staff within the Department of TRIO and Academic Services.

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

·         Compile data base for tutoring information that will be used to analyze the program.

·         Guide students to appropriate resources based on their needs.

·         Administer reading rates to students and share results.

·         Analyze tutor program evaluations as well as peer tutor evaluations.

 Analyze Reading Clinic evaluations.
