The Office of Institutional Research and Planning is seeking a graduate assistant to perform fundamental functions under the direction of the Institutional Researcher beginning in the Fall 2019.

 

Statement of Duties:

  •          Gather relevant information to respond to national surveys (e.g., U.S. News & World Report survey, College Board survey, etc)
  •          Assist in quantitative and qualitative data collection for select reporting
  •          Assist in data requests from departments to provide data for the Middle States accreditation
  •          Respond to simple ad hoc requests
  •      Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and high accuracy in reporting information
  •          Develop dashboards to visually convey statistical information

Schedule:

  •         200 hours for Fall 2019 semester (13 hours per week)
  •          Hours must be completed in the office of Old Main 207/208
  •          Hours will be scheduled Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm

 

Required Qualifications:

  •          Enrolled in a CalU graduate level program with at least 6 credits per term
  •          Advanced skills in using Excel and SPSS, SAS or other statistical packages
  •          Organizational skills and strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
  •          Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
