No prior background experience necessary!

TUESDAYS (8:30 pm – 10:30 pm)
Herron Fitness Center Gym B (Sensei Russell)

WEDNESDAYS (7:00 pm – 9:00 pm)
Herron Fitness Center Gym B (Sensei Hill)

THURSDAYS (8:30 pm – 10:30 pm)
Herron Fitness Center Gym B (KATA PRACTICE)

Judo uses three types of training methods:
Kata (formal exercises)
Randori (freestyle sparring)
Shiai (contests)

Judo means “The Gentle Way”

Judo is a great exercise routine.  Judo promotes flexibility, develops speed and co-ordination, strengthens the cardiovascular system, and promotes balanced muscular development and body control with fast reflexive action.

Judo doesn’t just focus on the body, but also promotes
self-discipline
self-confidence
respect for oneself & others
leadership skills
sharp reactive mind
cheerful and courteous attitude
