An Evening of Creativity

Performance has come to include many genres, and our students want to try them all. Past Evenings of Creativity have included one acts, dance, improv and spoken word. Who knows what this year will bring? Join us as we get creative!
Auditions will be held on November 6th at 5 PM for An Evening of Creativity.
Performance in Motion: An Exhibit of Movement, Dance and Imagination
April 23rd, 24th, and 25th, at 7 pm
April 25th, at 2 pm
Steele Hall Mainstage
This biannual event showcases the creative imagination of students and faculty from across campus, presenting an eclectic mix of styles and genres. Enjoy traditional and experimental movement, inspired by tunes you can hum along to and cherished children’s stories. This collection of original work, accompanied by the Cal U Jazz Ensemble, celebrates movement, music and collaboration.
If you are interested in directing or choreographing a piece for one of these showcases, please contact Dr. JP Staszel for information at staszel@calu.edu or 724-938-5580. Please include your area of interest so he can provide you with the correct submission guidelines. Submissions will be accepted up until October 21st.
