Session 1 - 1/15/2019  [9:00 AM - 9:50 AM]

Microsoft OneDrive and OneNote D2L/Brightspace integration

Maximize the use of Microsoft Office 365’s OneDrive and OneNote applications within your course(s) as a part of the integration within D2L/Brightspace Learning Management System.  Files can be uploaded from Microsoft OneDrive directly into course(s)/module(s) creating a live link to the Microsoft Web version and changes made to the items stored in OneDrive are pushed instantaneously to the live link within the course(s)/module(s).  Setting-up a link to your OneNote Class Notebook in D2L Brightspace allows your students to be added automatically to the notebook along with a private workspace for each student.                                                            Presenter: C.J. Respondus for Student Identity Verification in D2L Exams

In conjunction with the Respondus LockDown Browser, Monitor records students via a webcam while they take their online exam in D2L and prevents a student’s computer from accessing additional websites and applications outside of the exam. This training provides a detailed demonstration of both applications, how to set up an exam to use the tools, and tips and scenarios beneficial to faculty delivering online exams.

TLC OpenLab Learning Session

Come to the OpenLab if you have questions outside of the above workshops, would like to get additional assistance with your course design, need help integrating educational technology.  These are just a few of the things the Teaching and Learning Center staff are available to offer assistance with in the OpenLab.
