Student Passing - Counseling Services Available

This is a sad time for our University as we remember Brianna Waller who passed away this weekend. Counselors have been going out to some classrooms in Brianna’s major and meeting with affected students individually as well as in groups at the Counseling Center.

A Counselor will also be available to meet with students during common hour on Tuesday, January 28 (11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.) in the multipurpose room of Carter Hall (ground floor-same level as the Wellness Center)

When emotions feel overwhelming, talking with a professional can help. Please meet with a counselor if you believe you would benefit from support – and remind your classmates and friends from any major that counselors are available from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays at the Counseling Center in Carter Hall.

For afterhours crisis support, contact the SPHS Hotline: 1-877-225-3567
