This two-week experience is an opportunity to interact with political insiders, attend exclusive events, and engage in on-site fieldwork with media outlets, advocacy groups, host committees, state delegations and other organizations connected to the convention. Cal U will be sending three students to the Democratic Nation Convention and three students to the Republican National Convention. In accordance with university policy, this is a nonpartisan internship
Cost: Cal U will pay The Washington Center program fee, housing, and transportation to the convention. Students will be responsible for meals, local travel at the convention, and associated costs.
Credits: Students will receive 3 credits (POS 329) for the internship experience.
