Counseling is an incredibly useful tool that helps with a range of issues, from anxiety to sleep to relationships to school-related stressors. Research shows that it’s incredibly effective in helping people manage mental health conditions and experts say that it’s worth it even if you don’t have a mental health problem. If you think that you would benefit from counseling services, please know that counseling services are available to Cal U students throughout the Fall 2020 semester. If you are looking for resources to support your mental health, relationships, and personal needs, or any other issue serving as a barrier to your success, please contact Rachel Michaels, Director of Student Wellness Support Services at michaels_r@calu.edu. Rachel can assist you in connecting with a variety of University support services on campus, as well as off campus resources.
