The week of September 27th is Banned Books Week, an annual celebration of our right to read. Cal U's Sigma Tau Delta (The International English Honors Society) would like to invite you to participate in a virtual Banned Book readout on October 1st from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This year's celebration will be online and feature Cal U students, faculty, and staff reading from their favorite Banned Book.
If you are interested in participating, please sign up by SEPTEMBER 30th at the latest. You will be able to read a curated passage from a "banned" or "censored" book. For a list of authors/texts and to sign up,
please click here. If you are simply interested in attending, please save the Zoom meeting link below.
