Interested in a career in restaurants, events, hotels, or clubs? 

The perfect starting place is GEO 155 Hospitality Industry Operations

This course provides a broad introductory overview of the hospitality industry.

There is also a course segment on the art and science of alcohol etquitte and service in professional and social settings. 

This course open to any undergraduate major as a general elective.  

Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays 11:00-11:50 am

No pre-requisites.

 

For flexibility in this uncertain time, lectures will be synchronous and recorded for asynchronous viewing.

Registration is available via http://vip.calu.edu now.  

This course is required for the Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Studies Major (42 credits)the Tourism Studies Minor (18 credits), and Event Planning and Management Minor (18 credits).
