Are you intersted in working with and learning more about Plants?
Do you want to learn more about Sustainable agriculture while working outside and having an internship?

The Department of Biological, Environmental, and Geological Sciences is looking for 2 interns who have experience and are interested in plants and agriculture, to carry out a 10 week Summer Internship, Summer 2021.

We are planting and establishing a teaching and research Hop yard.  The hops will be used to educate the community and students on best practices for growing hops and marketing to local breweries.  We will plant and grow the hops and monitor their impact on local flora and fauna, soil health, and water holding capacity.

Please email Dr. Sarah Meiss (HopYard@calu.edu) for more information on the application process and details about qualifications.
