Flu Shots are Available at the California Rite Aid anytime, no appointment needed. They will verify your insurance information to find out if you qualify for a free flu shot. They assure me that most insurance plans, including Highmark, cover the flu shot at no cost you you!! There store hours in California are Monday thru Friday 9-9, Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 10-6.
A Rite-Aid Pharmacist is also willing to come to campus and administer the flu shots. You could call the day before and verify your insurance information to them, so as to get your shot for free. Also, if you do not have insurance and/or if your insurance does not cover this shot, you can get it for $29.99.
