California University of Pennsylvania Veterans Week Office Decorating Contest

Approved on May 13, 1938 under the Act 52 Stat. 351; 5 U. S. Code, Sec. 87a, made the 11th Day of November a legal holiday.

As California University of Pennsylvania honors our Veterans on this very special day, we would like to invite all department offices on campus to participate in the 3rd Annual Veterans Day Office Decorating Contest!

The contest will begin on Monday November 5th with official judging by a faculty, staff and student Veteran on Wednesday November 7th between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The winner will be awarded in the category of "Most Patriotic" and will be notified during the 39th Annual Veterans Day Luncheon in the Performance Center on November 8th at 11:30am.

Show your Patriotism as we support our campus & community Veterans by decorating your department's office. The best overall winner of the contest will receive a trophy that will travel among winning departments from year to year and also recognized during the luncheon.

For more information on the contest, please contact Robert at prah@calu.edu. To register your department in the contest, please e-mail Joseph Bryan at BRY3448@calu.edu no later than Friday November 2, 2012.
